I don't know what's gotten into me, but in three days I have planted basil, cilantro, rosemary, tulips for next spring, carrots, radishes, green onions, beets, Swiss chard, snap peas and kale. No idea if it will work given the raccoons who have taken a liking to our new grass. Cross your fingers!
Emma and I later put some protective netting over the beds to deter those rascals, double crossing fingers.

Good luck! You might get hooked. We put in a good sized one the first year we moved here, have doubled our garden size once already, and are going to double it again next year.
