Nice wheels...

Eric shot a quick picture of me in front of Coco Crisp's Rolls Royce the other day in the A's parking lot. :-)

First pigtails!

Thanks to Grandma C. for the suggestion to try pigtails with my wild curls. It helped that there was a new brush (our other one is missing) in the scrunchie and rubberband kit from dear friend Felicia. :-)

Red Sox-Giants

Emma didn't seem all that enthused to see Mom at work in the press box and have to meet everybody before the Red Sox-Giants game. Once she got a cookie from the media lunch room things were much better. :-) She has had a long day with swim lessons, Peets coffee jaunt and U.S. soccer match.

Silly cousin fun

Emma is really going to miss Rocco when he moves to New York soon. They've had so many fun times together and now say each other's names and get so excited to see each other.

Jumping beans

Reunion with Darren B.

I can't believe Darren Baker (now 11) was just 3 1/2 when he ran onto the field at the 2002 World Series as the Giants bat boy and nearly got run over at home plate before being scooped up by J.T. Snow. We always enjoy seeing each other once or twice a year.

Wild hair for a World Cup win!

Daddy was cheering like crazy this morning for the U.S. soccer team! I thought it was hilarious.

More from golf

Colleagues Tim Booth from Seattle and Tim Dahlberg (awesome columnist who was with me for most of Bonds' home run chase in 2007!) from Las Vegas helped keep me sane at the golf. Logged 97.5 hours! Tim Booth, who's originally from Ellensburg, rode with me all week and was great company.

Father's Day fun!

While Mom covered the last day of golf, Daddy and I celebrated Father's Day with a fun ferry ride to San Francisco, where I saw the sea lions and learned how to make their silly noises. It was a great day and Dad was exhausted after chasing me around. FUN! (Auntie Z., notice the pretzel stick I keep in my hand at all times. Hee hee!)

Great view

This is the view from the edge of the 18th green. Not bad! And from above ...

Hard at work

Hanging with San Francisco Chronicle pal David White on the No. 3 green Wednesday, checking pairing sheets. (I do remind myself I'm getting paid to walk, watch golf and look at gorgeous views ... which makes the long 16-hour days worth while!).

Cousins and sidewalk chalk = loads of fun!

My mom says this $5 box of sidewalk chalk was a worthwhile purchase because Rocco and I had such a ball with it! :-) I'm going to miss Rocco Man when he goes to NYC!

Shades

Holden, I like to wear shades, too! :-)

Pebble Beach

Even with gray skies, this place is a gorgeous setting for the U.S. Open golf. Great exercise, too!

Tumbling time

I'm getting better at my forward and backward (assisted) rolls ... and loving every minute of running around at tumbling. That's my great teacher, Gigi, helping me.

More fun with grandpa!

Grandpa and I went to the park ...

We went swimming ...

And we read ... thanks for a great weekend! We miss you already.

See Jane Run

How come Emma and Suzie don't even look winded on this hot day? (And Suzie ran 13 miles!!)

We have decided we have no excuse for NOT running this race each year given the name and the fact the starting line is five minutes from our house! Emma and I cut off almost a minute from our 2009 time, finishing the 5K in 26:33 (17th overall woman out of 1,094 runners, 2nd stroller to cross and 4th in the 30-34 age group). Suzie was 7th overall in the half-marathon in 1:36!! :-) ... Also impressive, the overall winner of the 5K was the No. 1 stroller finisher!
