Al and Bernie, two all-time NBA coaching greats!
Always a special night when you can personally tell someone like former
SuperSonics coach Bernie Bickerstaff that he and his teams shaped your
childhood and what you're doing today. He gave me a chuckle hearing of
the postgame shenanigans Evan and I pulled, then a nice hug.
He and Al Attles (who played in Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game as a Warriors teammate and went 8 for 8 with 17 points and is still handsome, sweet and sharp at age 80) razzed each other like back in their coaching days. And Al asked me to join them in a photo. Fun night!
