Very first garden

I don't know what's gotten into me, but in three days I have planted basil, cilantro, rosemary, tulips for next spring, carrots, radishes, green onions, beets, Swiss chard, snap peas and kale. No idea if it will work given the raccoons who have taken a liking to our new grass. Cross your fingers!

Emma and I later put some protective netting over the beds to deter those rascals, double crossing fingers.

Herb garden, first attempt

Wish us luck as we try to grow herbs for the first time in our old bathroom sink. We also put in a few tulip bulbs and afterward Emma said, "I'm happy as a tulip!"
