This is my friend Pre - named after long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine - from Tucson. His mom, Shannon, is mom's good friend and she is a sports editor. We had so much fun having dinner, holding hands, getting ice cream and being silly. At the end, I said, "Bye, Buddy!"
Pre was born March 25, 2009, so I am just about 2 months older.

We love ice cream, too! Evan got an ice cream set for Christmas (Melissa and Doug--wooden cones, magnetic scoops of ice cream and scoopers) so we are "eating" a lot of it lately.
That is really nice of you to share your ice cream Emma. Abby still plays with her ice cream set, sounds like it is the same one that Evan has!
Wonder if your buddy will be an amazing runner like Oregon's Pre? Looks like a fun day!
