Baby feet

Coming in early May ... gender will be a surprise. This baby is long limbed, probably bigger than Emma was (5 lb., 14 oz.) and measuring five days ahead of May 10 due date. Starting to get kicked by these little footsies.

Project fort

My new fort is complete with two dogs to keep me company, a glowing turtle that shines different colored stars, Curious George bandaids just in case and SNACKS - aquarium animal cookies and honey whole wheat pretzel sticks. Cousin Rocco, you want to come visit to get out of the NYC blizzard?

Chistmas Eve fun

It's a warm December day, the slides and swings are dry and we had a fun afternoon at the park. Missing Leavenworth and the snow, though. HOLIDAY HUGS to all!

Pretty lights and decorations

We walked along a pretty street in Alameda tonight where all the houses do special lights and decorations. Grandma Connie sent me this nice new jacket with a scarf attached. :-) It's cozy! (Thanks, Grandma!)

Holiday bumps...

Halfway there ... 20 weeks today! Emma wanted a picture taken of her belly and asked Daddy to take one (a nearly 23-month tummy).

Tumbling

At Ruby's Tumbling where I go, twice a month on Saturday nights they will watch kids for 3 hours while their parents get to go out. My mom and dad had a nice dinner out with Declan's parents while the two of us played until we were red-faced when they came back for us! FUN! I sure slept well.

Meet Carly!

Grandma Connie drove to Moses Lake last weekend to get Carly (combo for caramel and curly), Sadie's new big sister, from a family that couldn't keep her anymore. She is part Golden and part Chesapeake Bay retriever and looks an awful lot like Grandma's first golden retriever, Denali. Rachel and Megan probably can see a resemblance. :-) Sadie and Carly (and Grandma) are having so much fun already!

My "buddy" Pre

This is my friend Pre - named after long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine - from Tucson. His mom, Shannon, is mom's good friend and she is a sports editor. We had so much fun having dinner, holding hands, getting ice cream and being silly. At the end, I said, "Bye, Buddy!"









Pre was born March 25, 2009, so I am just about 2 months older.

Happy Hanukkah

We celebrated Hanukkah tonight. We lit a menora, Daddy made yummy latkes (potato pancakes you put applesauce and sour cream on) and a kale salad with oranges and manchego cheese and mom roasted brussels sprouts and green beans after being inspired by Mary's cooking.
