With a new baby sister or brother coming in a matter of weeks, we're trying to clear some space in my room, so today I got this neat new shelf for my stuffed animals. So far they all like it up there.
Our wonderful neighbor, Denise, had this great dollhouse in her garage back from when she used to teach preschool. Now it's mine and I'm having so much fun with it. Elise and Holden, can't wait for you to play with me soon!
With all this heavy rain, it was a good day for indoor hoops while watching NCAA hoops! (When I put my sweater on this morning, I told Daddy: "Hadley got this for me!" Thanks Team Juchem!).
What a vacation! The beach you see us on is no longer there after the tsunami. We had plenty of warning to evacuate our hotel room and drive to higher ground Thursday night, sleeping in our car. Emma was a trooper and keeps saying we went on an "adventure." She swam 2-3 hours a day and had a blast, not happy to come home last night. :-) We saw at least a dozen humpback whales way out in the ocean and Emma even spotted several of them on her own. Neat!
Thanks for the cute sun hat, Auntie Rachel! It's a tiny bit big but should be perfect this summer. :-)
(I am 31 weeks pregnant in those photos, which were taken before my terrible stomach bug that hit Wednesday overnight and again Friday, keeping me in bed all day Saturday). WHEW! Happy to be home.
We saw the whales from this fun trail walk at a state park by the ocean.
