So thankful ...

We had a great time in NYC last weekend for the girls' cousin Ari's bar mitzvah (Josh's brother Jason's son) and so enjoyed seeing Katie, Rocco and Bo Bo. It was just too short a visit. The Museum of Natural History frog exhibit was a huge hit! Thanks, Katie!

Lil Lils, as I call her, is doing great. She gained about 3 pounds over the past two months up to 14 lb., 15 oz. at her 6-month check (28th percentile or so) and 26 inches (50th-plus). She has two little teeth and is already enjoying some baby yogurt, sweet potatoes and avocado. We just started the solids, so I probably broke the rules today giving her a little bit of avocado AND sweet potatoes.

Kristy has taught Emma well. By late in the game, Emma said, "I like the Hawkeyes better!" :-)
