A birds'-eye view!

A large juvenile black-crowned night-heron bird watched from a high perch at the top of the backstop for the first three innings of tonight's game between the Cincinnati Reds and Giants before flying through the field and away. It was entertaining! :-) If I were at all computer savvy I'd be able to post a picture of the friendly fella!

Reunion day...

The Big Hurt rejoined the A's and another familiar face, Rajai Davis, was picked up by Oakland after the Giants cut him.

Jennifer's visit...

J. flew down from chilly Spokane for a windy weekend in the Bay Area, but we had a blast shopping, exploring and catching up! Not to mention eating at fun places. I miss her already! :-(

Final Four and NCAA fun with Stanford!

Stanford's first Final Four run since 1997 has been such a blast to cover, from behind-the-scenes access last weekend in Spokane with this special bunch to following them to Tampa for the Final Four and the championship game coming up Tuesday night!
