 Pub food on the final day ... this was so good: potato-leek-chicken pot pie w/o the pot and carrots.

 Nicole is off to Germany to see her brother's new baby boy and meet up w/her parents.

Volleyball ... indoors now

 Bulgaria president Rosen Plevneliev in the middle cheering on his country's men's volleyball team vs. Russia. He was friendly and waved.(Prince Albert of Monaco's security folks kept looking at me, checking my credential as I walked out with them from volleyball.)

 With Portland colleague Annie Peterson. She has written volleyball the entire time.

And the last night at beach volleyball. Sad to see it done. So fun!

What a tree!

 My friend Krisha from L.A. and I couldn't resist exploring this tree in Hyde Park this morn

 We had a nice time and saw some of the 10K women's open water swim

 This was hard, actually :-)

 It will be an all-American final for women's beach volleyball. Pretty cool!
