Adventures in Arizona with Mary

Nothing better than a Papago Buttes hike with an awesome pal
 Girls in the rocks

Where on earth can you get two scoops this size for $2.43 total?! WHOOP!
 An Old Town Scottsdale Institution
Mary next to a very important sign: "Watch out for flying balls and bats." ...
Until next year, Mary, thanks for visiting. Such a special time!

The wildest thing we did this alcohol-free weekend was go into Scottsdale Stadium, home of the Giants, with permission to check on a poker game between baseball writers.

Selfie. Don't look too closely for grays, please.

Cacti companions
So, we treated ourselves to almost-matching bracelets before leaving for the airport!

February gardening

First 2015 harvest: lettuce, arugula, chard, broccoli rabe, kale, green onion, radish.
Tomatoes I started from seed in the planter below are now separated into their own containers. Hope they do as well as last year's crop I started in January.

More from our visit to the Disney Aulani

Hawaiian monk seal basking in the sun

Rachel and Karen Rieke always loved their Dole Whip. It hit the spot, even on a rainy day.

Disney "character" breakfast was so special

Hawaii 2015

This might have been our best Hawaii trip yet with two potty-trained kids and Emma being able to swim on her own now and Lily in a life jacket. Hard to come home.

She did it! (In front of the whole school)

Emma was one of only two kindergarteners in the school talent show, and the other gal performed with her big sister and another girl. So proud of her, she practiced so hard. :)
