On a snake mission...

My Dad made sure we were protected from a pesky rattlesnake that had been hanging out in the woodpile at the cabin. Using his weed-eating prowess, the snake came right out onto the path without even a hiss and my Dad proceeded to stun him on the head and then take care of the fella.

Family

We had a great quick visit to the lake last weekend, and it is always wonderful to have cousin Karen around! As usual, we swam hard, ate hard and played cards hard, too.

Introducing Sadie

We are all so excited for my mom to pick up her new puppy, Sadie, on Sept. 9 in Monroe on the way back from their trip to Ireland! Evan and I have been trying to convince her to get another puppy for a while. YAY!

Shuffleboard fun

We might have had a new record with 20-month Aidan Boscovich, son of friends Hallie and Harold, at the shuffleboard table during Kristy's 30th birthday party. It was a great time, and Aidan appears eager for tennis lessons soon, too. YAY!

Jennifer's visit

Another party!

My friend, Felicia, celebrated her 40th birthday with quite the bash! It was a blast! My friend, workout bud and golf coach, Shooty, (a scout with the Mets in the black suit) went with me and we all danced and drank yummy mojitos! Just what I needed after the Barry Bonds' home run chase had finally ended. I hope I look like Felicia in 8 years! :-) We tell people we're sisters - not sure they believe it, though.

Winery wedding!

We went to a fun wedding last Sunday at a winery in Livermore (trivia fact: hometown of pitcher Randy Johnson). Uncle Jim drove Josh and me there in his awesome Caddy! It was a great time. Katie found this gorgeous Vera Wang gown 70 percent off and looked absolutely stunning (as always)!
