"Get away, Mommy," Emma says when I try to monitor this situation. (She's almost 2 and definitely establishing her independence - a good thing, indeed).
Ahhh, it won't be long (or maybe it's already happened) before you get the do-overs--she'll have to do over the whole process if you help just a little. Cute on a lazy day, not so much when you are hustling to get out the door. Happy New Year! Holly
Ah yes - aren't we lucky to have such strong-willed girls!? They will all grow up to be wonderful, strong women. :) And in the meantime you get to work harder than you ever imagined at being patient. I had to laugh at Holly's comment. We still have do-overs! Lots of love and a happy New Year! Megan, Abby and Kate
I wonder where they learn the words "Get Away"...but even now at 11 months Holden says it nonverbally. He wants to feed himself most of the time...he pushes away the spoon and would much rather pick up his food by himself. :)
